Problem: The like button (button) is missing / missing from your post.
Other people may not be able to like your post on Facebook. This is due to a setting. By following this guide, you can make your Facebook page public so that people who are not friends with you can still like your post.
Guide to making messages public
Here’s how to make Facebook posts public so other people can like the posts.
STEP 1 – GO TO SETTINGS
Open your Facebook page and go to settings. The settings can be found under the triangle at the top right of your screen.
STEP 2 – GO TO PUBLIC MESSAGES
On the left side of the screen, the settings menu appears. Now click on “Public posts.
STEP 3 – SELECT ‘PUBLIC’ ANYWHERE
The following 3 items must be set to ‘Public’ as shown in the image below. By clicking edit you can choose between Public/Friends of friends/Friends of friends. So for all 3, choose Public.

Who can respond to your public posts -> Public
2 – Notifications public message
Notifications received from -> Public
3 – Public Profile Information
Who can like or respond to photos and other information in your public profile -> Public
