You can make an Instagram profile private and make it public. You do this with the private mode found in settings. In private mode, other people cannot see your posts (photos and videos). How to turn Private Mode on and off
To turn private mode on or off, you need to open the app on your mobile or tablet. Then click on your profile picture at the bottom right of the screen.
